Ingredients
  

Fruit
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and mashed
Sugar
  • 4 cups granulated sugar adjust to taste
Pectin
  • 1 box fruit pectin such as Sure-Jell
Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Method
 

Prepare Strawberries
  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then mash them in a mixing bowl using a potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
Mix Ingredients
  1. Add the granulated sugar to the mashed strawberries and stir well. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the sugar to dissolve.
  2. Stir in the fruit pectin and lemon juice, mixing thoroughly until fully combined.
Pack and Freeze
  1. Pour the jam mixture into freezer-safe containers, leaving some space at the top for expansion. Seal tightly.
  2. Label the containers with the date and store them in the freezer. The jam can be kept frozen for up to one year.
