Prepare the Smash Burgers
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper.
- Divide the beef into 4 equal portions and form loose balls.
- Place the balls in the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes until a crust forms, then flip and add cheese on top.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese melts.
Assemble the Tacos
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
- Place a smash burger on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, and red onions as desired.
- Fold the tortillas and serve immediately.
