Prepare the Water
- Fill a saucepan with 4 cups of water and add 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
Poach the Eggs
- Crack each egg into a small bowl. Create a gentle whirlpool in the simmering water and carefully slide each egg into the center. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.
Remove and Serve
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the poached eggs from the water. Drain briefly and season with salt before serving.
