Ingredients
  

Dressing Base
  • 1 cup olive oil extra virgin recommended
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional for sweetness
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Mixing the Dressing
  1. In a jar, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and honey. Seal the jar and shake well to combine.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the jar. Seal and shake again until all ingredients are well mixed.
Serving
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to a week.
