Ingredients
  

Apples
  • 4 medium apples peeled, cored, and chopped
Water
  • 1 cup water
Sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust to taste
Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

Prepare the Apples
  1. Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces.
Cook the Apples
  1. In a saucepan, combine the chopped apples and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft.
Blend the Sauce
  1. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Blend the mixture until smooth using a blender.
  2. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Adjust sweetness to taste.
Serve
  1. Serve warm or chilled. Enjoy your homemade apple sauce!
