Ingredients
  

Avocado Base
  • 2 large ripe avocados peeled and pitted
Flavorings
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1 small red onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 small jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro chopped, optional

Method
 

Prepare the Avocados
  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
Mash the Avocados
  1. Use a fork to mash the avocados to your desired consistency (smooth or chunky).
Mix in Ingredients
  1. Add the diced tomato, chopped onion, minced garlic, minced jalapeño, lime juice, salt, and cilantro (if using) to the mashed avocados.
Combine and Serve
  1. Stir all ingredients together until well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve immediately.
