Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Optional
  • 4 buns burger buns for serving
  • 1 cup coleslaw for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
Add BBQ Sauce
  1. Pour the BBQ sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Shred and Serve
  1. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks.
  2. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir to combine with the sauce.
  3. Serve on buns topped with coleslaw, if desired.
