  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup canned or homemade
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup milk whole or low-fat
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Topping
  • 1 cup bread crumbs for crunch
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
  4. Layer the broccoli and carrots over the chicken.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the vegetables and chicken, ensuring everything is well coated.
Baking
  1. In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
  2. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden brown.
  4. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
