Method
Prepare the Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter, then add the sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Make the Streusel Topping
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the cake batter.
Bake the Cake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
