Ingredients
  

Beef and Sauce
  • 1 pound beef sirloin sliced into thin strips
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Pasta or Rice
  • 8 ounces egg noodles or rice
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips, chop the onion, and slice the mushrooms.
Cook the Beef
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables
  1. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
Make the Sauce
  1. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Bring to a simmer.
Combine and Serve
  1. Return the beef to the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and serve topped with the beef stroganoff. Garnish with chopped parsley.
