Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.
  3. In a bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
  4. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Cook the Ribs
  1. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
  2. Cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
  3. Remove the ribs from the foil and brush with BBQ sauce.
  4. Grill for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with more sauce, until caramelized.
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

For best results, marinate the ribs with the dry rub overnight.
