Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Preheat the grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.
- In a bowl, mix together all the dry rub ingredients.
- Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Cook the Ribs
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
- Cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
- Remove the ribs from the foil and brush with BBQ sauce.
- Grill for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with more sauce, until caramelized.
Serve
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
