Ingredients
  

Coleslaw
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage green or purple
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Corn on the Cob
  • 4 ears corn husks removed
  • 1 stick butter for serving
  • 1 teaspoon salt for serving
Baked Beans
  • 2 cans baked beans 15 oz each
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon barbecue sauce

Method
 

Coleslaw Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Corn on the Cob Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain and serve with butter and salt.
Baked Beans Preparation
  1. In a skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent.
  2. Add baked beans, brown sugar, mustard, and barbecue sauce.
  3. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve warm alongside BBQ chicken.
