Ingredients
  

Beef
  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast trimmed of excess fat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
Onion
  • 1 medium onion sliced
Garlic
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Liquid
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Trim excess fat from the beef chuck roast and cut it into large chunks.
  2. Season the beef chunks with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Cooking
  1. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the seasoned beef on top of the onions and garlic.
  3. Pour the BBQ sauce and beef broth over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  5. Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve the BBQ beef on buns or with your favorite sides.
